BANKERS SYSTEMS SELECTS X/NET FOR STRATEGIC WEB FRONT END AND INTERFACE DEVELOPMENT

Companies Strengthen Strategic Relationship for Greater Integration Capabilities

ROCHESTER, NY -- July 17, 2000 - X/Net Associates has expanded its strategic relationship with Bankers Systems Inc. (BSI) with the recent signing of two new agreements. BSI is contracting with X/Net to provide a number of its customers with a web browser interface for its Rembrandt product, and has named X/Net an approved vendor to develop interfaces between BSI's Rembrandt Lending System, ARTA Lending System and ARTA Deposit System and core processor products.

BSI's Rembrandt Lending System is a comprehensive loan documentation system for consumer, commercial and agricultural lending, with built in compliance management tools. Through the new agreement, X/Net will be providing a group of BSI customers with an Application Web Front End for Rembrandt.

"By strengthening our strategic alliance with X/Net, we are providing additional integration options for our customers," says Gary Hess, director of alliance management, Bankers Systems Inc. "Our previous experience with X/Net's technology gives us confidence in the quality of the Application Web Front End for Rembrandt."

"This development holds immediate benefit for the Rembrandt user community," said Gregg Olin, president of X/Net, "The customer gets a simple web interface solution that increases productivity at the branch level by connecting the user directly with the lending software."

In addition to providing an easy to implement Application Web Front End for Rembrandt, X/Net is one of several vendors chosen to provide BSI customers with interface development services between BSI products and other third-party software products. For example, X/Net will offer pre- and post-process interfaces to tie Rembrandt to a financial institution's automated credit origination system, core accounting system, and other third-party software packages.

"X/Net's depth of background in interface development made them an obvious addition to our vendor list," says Hess. "Our customer needs will vary, and X/Net's experience will enable them to customize interfaces to service our customers' individual needs."
